CPAH is a nonprofit housing development agency started in 1993 in Tigard, and has expanded to also serve Beaverton and SW Portland with 372 affordable rental apartments in eight apartment complexes. We currently have two new housing communities under construction (one in Tigard and one in Beaverton), plus an historic rehabilitation of The Joyce Hotel in downtown Portland is in pre-development.
In addition to building homes for those most in need, CPAH provides close to 800 residents with services that include housing stability and eviction prevention services, enriching youth programs (after school homework club and summer youth camps), annual giveaways of backpacks, school supplies and warm winter coats to hundreds of resident children (thanks to community partners), a Thriving in Place program for seniors, and referrals to additional services.
Building housing, building lives.
